Mixie’s Tips:
You may need to show your child how to do this or suggest some scenarios for them to act out with their toy.
For example, they could pretend their toy is going to a birthday party (happy, bright bouncy voice), getting lost in the woods (scared, wobbly small voice), having an argument (angry, loud and strong voice), losing at a game (sad, quiet and slow voice).
This week, practise recognising feelings by doing some Voice Clue Role Play!
Choose one of your favourite toys and use different voice clues to show when your toy is happy, sad, angry or scared.
See if your grown-up can guess how your toy is feeling.
